Computershare
Brief
Promote eTree campaign.
A Computershare initiative with Landcare Australia, giving an incentive
to shareholders of Australian companies to elect and receive shareholder
communications electronically thus saving paper and helping preserve
the environment.
Solution
This
project required a product that had to be unique, interactive, environmentally
friendly, Australian made and allow a lot of information to be conveyed We
also wanted to create a synergy with the partner organisation Landcare
Australia.
We undertook research and put forward the ‘Seedpot’ product,
which is a single pot growing kit in which the seed germinates and grows
within the pack. The pack included ingenious greenhouse packaging, Lemon
scented tea tree seeds, expanding peat pellet, a printed pot and card
insert with programs details and growing instructions.
Once the seed has been planted in the pot it requires daily watering,
which ensures that the brand www.etree.com.au is
reinforced to the product recipient, helping to create top of mind awareness
and a constant reminder of the programs link to the environment.
The products have been distributed aspart of a take home pack given
to guests at the programs launch and also have been handed out to prospective
new member businesses of the program after business meetings pitching
the projects merits.
Results
Over 100,000 individuals have registered to date to receive their shareholders
communications electronically This is a significant registration
base and a solid foundation to build on.
A substantial amount of money has also been raised to assist Landcare
Australia with its valuable work assisting the environment.
There have been instances of the targeted companies contacting Computershare
requesting further Seedpots and Computershare have re-ordered 3 times,
this product has become a key component of their eTree marketing strategy.
