Brief
To increase brand
awareness, support Ford racing teams, create goodwill and reward existing
clients/dealers.
Solution
After
conducting extensive market research with the client to determine price
points, requirements etc, a core range of products were designed and developed
in-house to ensure a co-ordinated range which was compliant with
Ford’s strict brand guide lines.
Flags – achieves maximum visual impact at track events,
particularly on live TV coverage These are also given to car clubs These
were produced in PMS286 rather than standard 294 so they showed up better
on TV.
Back Sacks – the perfect choice to show bold brand loyalty
whilst being a useful track item to carry all associated branded product
/ racing literature Have proved a big success with adults and
children alike
Camera’s – custom printed camera’s that actually
superimposed the Ford logo onto each photograph One of the most
successful products in the range that allowed for those racing and fun
action moments to be captured with corporate branding.
Radio’s – allowed for race day visitor’s/guests
to have maximum sensory impact with live radio A great hit with
kids and a product with immense perceived value & longevity
Caps – a simple but effective design that allowed for loyal
Ford fans to proudly show their support whether hot or cold conditions.
Tee Shirts designed for give aways to bar staff and local hotels
for further exposure
Chair Covers / Table Cloths – These are used at race events
including breakfasts, dinners etc. These items further enhanced the brand
awareness and as a result were a ‘surprise’ hit with guests
who appreciated the finer details of a truly orchestrated event.
Bottled Water – a must have for the dry heat of many of
the race day events
Cooler Bags – Subtle branding features such as custom rubberised
zip pulls were key to creating a distinctive and stylish piece great
for putting other products in to give away We designed a custom
swing tag so each could be personally addressed.
Poncho’s – Low cost product which ensured that Ford
looked after their guests in even the worst of weather conditions and
looked great in media coverage!
Lanyards – designed for tickets for events and to identify
Ford guests
Results
All of the products within the range are
used on race days resulting in exceptional levels of brand awareness
and support, which is re-iterated by visitor’s, guests, and Ford
officials Some guests have been so taken by the range that they have
requested additional items to take home
Other divisions within Ford have purchased product from the V8 team
to use
