Brief
To develop a product to assist the launch of SKYY Blue Vodka into the marketplace. A low cos premium item to use at ski events, yet still be applicable to those states that don’t have snow.
Solution
The hero product was a retractable lip balm & formed the key to an overall strategy, designed to introduce SKYY Blue Vodka to both retailers and consumers. The promotional campaign was conducted both on and off-premise, with the basic concept being similar for both, buy SKYY Blue and receive a free Lip Balm.
Results
The promotion not only bought key retail selling space in store for the brand, but has maintained that space beyond the promotion. The key objective was met increasing the brands’ footprint in the market, with retailers still asking for more.
