Product: Grand Prix Merchandise Range

Brief: This was a challenge from Foster’s of truly global proportions: Design and develop for the Foster’s brand a highly coordinated and extremely eye-catching range of Grand Prix merchandise and apparel — built around a worldwide, 100% online ordering system for all Grand Prix 2007 merchandise.
Solution: Wompro created the entire program in-house, making sure every one of the twenty items was compliant with Foster’s strict brand guidelines, while also being fashion forward, classic and functional. What’s more, the products had to reflect the signature look for both Foster’s Formula 1 and the Foster’s brand. The online ordering system we developed to specifically handle the orders from every corner of the globe was credited as being a major factor in the campaign’s success.
Results: We successfully delivered every product to each destination in all of the 19 countries spread over the globe — a major organisational and logistical feat. Every delivery met event scheduling requirements. As added proof of the campaign’s success, deliveries were made to countries that had never used any Foster’s merchandise and didn’t even host a Grand Prix! And to top it all off, we won the 2006 APPA Pyramid Awards Platinum Award for the program.
